FAQ

Q: If I have a question about the NHN program, where can I get answers?
A: Just click on Contact Us above and you will be able to email Support with your questions. You will typically receive a response within 24 hours.

Q: What about those neighbors who are elderly, have special needs or do not have access to the Internet?
A: You will want to discuss these neighbors in your NHN block meeting, so everyone is aware of their special needs. Be sure and include them by printing and distributing the materials to them and making sure they feel a part of the neighborhood. Their ICE, (In Case of Emergency information), information is important to have in an emergency.

Q: What is ICE?

A: During Hurricane Katrina, so many people were injured, unconscious, or separated from their families, that emergency workers came up with the idea of putting an ICE – In Case Of Emergency – contact in your cell phone.  Now, when a patient who is unconscious or unable to speak comes into the ER, hospitals worldwide look for their ICE contact, to locate their next of kin.
